About Species

Legends say Pipfaes were created when the Moon wept into a patch of enchanted night-blooms. Their presence is often marked by the soft flutter of wings and trails of glittering dusklight. They, much like bats, enjoy caves and narrow places during the day time while they seek the thrill of the open air and twisting trees during the night. Pipfaes are very defensive of their homes and almost never show themselves to other sentient species. They will use illusion magic to keep those unworthy of entering their spaces away. Only those with kind hearts and quiet steps may earn a Pipfae’s trust and perhaps witness the wonders they bring to the moonlit world.
